He had a falling out with Freddie Roach and Arum, he no longer trains at Wild Card and trains with Joe Goossen now in Van Nuys.

One thing good about him was he was willing to fight everyone, but his promoter never gave hm any good fights, always putting him in against scrubs and than tossing him in with Lara and he wasn't even there to promote it.

I don't blame him Bob Arum didn't even push this kid when he had him wasted him for years just fighting on undercards pretty sad. Also Roach had no time for him, because he had super star money guys he focused more on leaving Vanes to have to train with another trainer and have Roach only in the corner on fight night.

Vanes has been with Roach since his Amateur days.

Im astonished as to how this guy never amounted to much. I always saw him as a potential belt holder.

Well, his career is not over. He's still young and could very well be one of the top fighters in the near future. He's up against Mario Alberto Lozano on Friday. Is this dude any good??

No clue but looking at boxrec seems like your typical tune-up fighter. Good enough to beat bums, but loses to prospects.

Yeh man hope so im not a die hard fan, but he has good skills so i want him to do well.
