What was the cause of Bradleys broken ankles in the Pac fight?

Freddie Roach recently said that Pacs punches were the result of Bradleys twisted and bruised right ankle and the fracture in his left foot. I'm trying to ponder how does a punch (or in Pacs case swinging at wind and air) break a human begins ankles? Can someone please explain that one to me?

Bradley mustve turned his ankle, bu twe would see that evidence via footage. Unless pac rocked him so crazy it sent a shock through his body nd cracked his ankles Lol but unlikely

Pac/bradley was one of the only times ive ever seen a fighter in a wheel chair in their post fight interviews

If it wasnt for bradleys iron chin nd pacs lenghty inactivety in many rounds, bradey prob would have been in a stretcher, fck a wheelchair

Bradley always gets my respect tho, he reminds me of pac.. aint scared of nobody amd always brings it. Just not as aggressive nd not as powerful.

Pac kos bradley this time, hope bradley brawls nd doesnt box like he did aginst jmm nd which he prob will do if hes smart. But i wna see an exciting fight w some bombs, fk that olympic scoring for points bullsht. I wna see some exposiveness displayed!

During the second round in a clinch Pacquiao rested his giant head on Bradley's shoulders. This caused Timmy's legs to splinter and eventually break due to the excess weight.

By the time Bradley started turning his legs and feet back the wrong way he had left the planet. He acted like he met god or the grim reaper or some ****. I've never seen such a "warrior" type fighter lose his spirit in such sudden and dramatic fashion. He turned that fight into a "please don't hurt me, Mr. Pacquiao" type sparring match the moment he started getting touched up. Looking forward to the rematch. I expect to see the same fear.
