A lot is made these days of grammar and diction and proper speak. Ebonics was smashed to pieces by critics but, really, NOBODY speaks properly like was originally intended. "It is" is usually replaced with "it's" and I am definitely all for that. The world would be much different (boring sounding) if we all spoke "properly." I mean, can you imagine Cuba Gooding in "Jerry Maguire" saying not SHOW ME THE MONEY! but................
