In the U.S. mainland, there are approximately 4 million Puerto Ricans, with about the same number on the island. There's a reason why Danny targeted his background. Puerto Ricans are big into boxing, at least when one of their own is fighting.

My girlfriend, who is originally from the island, told me one of her female Facebook friends was asking where she could catch the fight. My Puerto Rican neighbors always have a fight party, and all the women get into it. It's become a part of their culture. I would bet a great deal of money that the lion's share of those viewers are Puerto Rican. That's why promoters are always happy to land a new prospect from that land. It's money in the bank.

those 1.1 including myself were looking forward to 2 great fights. We instead got weak hw fight that looked fixed, and the main event winner had the wrong hand raised. damn shame! I think once Wilder fights someone with a pulse and WILL punch back as hard as he does, then he's going sleepy time!
As for garcia, i was tellin my boys while we were watching it that going back home(i know he's from pa but he's still a boriken) sometimes jinxes you. he's lucky it was there though cause that was a bs decision for him. if anything, it should have been a win for maestro or at the worst, a draw
