    A purse bid has been avoided, as representatives for Argenis Mendez and Rances Barthelemy have agreed to work out terms for their forthcoming rematch.

    No date or venue has yet been set, but the 130 lb. title fight sequel is being targeted for June, to air on Showtime.

    The latter part was to be expected after Barthelemy signed with high-powered, low-profile boxing adviser Al Haymon earlier in March. The majority of the fighters currently guided by Haymon have regularly appeared on Showtime or Fox Sports 1 in recent months. [Click Here To Read More]

              Actually, if it's in June I hope they bring it to Florida. I'll be there!

                  Maybe it's a sign. I just asked about this a day or two ago. And I was talking to KOZone on the phone earlier, and he was hopeful we might catch a card in Miami soon "even if it's just Barthelemy." lol If it happens, there would be at least four of us there. Fingers crossed....

                      If the fight lands on Showtime Champ. Boxing, it won't be the main event.
                      This could be the co-feature but who can headline in Florida? Berto? lol
