    Jorge Arce vs. Brian Viloria

This fight is a possibility for this year or maybe 2007. Who wins this fight & why?

This is a superfight no doubt but lets not get to ahead of ourselves I thought Rosendo Alvarez is getting the next shot at Arce and if that is indeed the case which Im almost positive it is then that will be a life and death struggle for Jorge.

If the money is right I like Alvarez in this matchup.

Can't wait to see that fight if it happens. Maybe even a PPV first for a fight in that weight division. Arce has a tremendous fan following and so does Viloria now. This would be a scary fight for both sides.

Pick'em fight. Arce's more proven, as you can see by his strenght of schedule.

        Great undercard fight.

I would say there is a good chance a card like this is a PPV main event given the popularity of both fighters with Mexican and Pilipino fans. If I was a promoter I would be seing some cha ching with this matchup.

Arce's natural non-fighting weight is at 129/130 lbs, he's just too big for Viloria

I like Arce in a very close fight if this happens in the next year or so. Arce's a very busy fighter, so if this takes place more than 12-15 months from now, I'd say Viloria would win. This is really a toss-up, and I wouldn't argue with anyone that said Viloria would win right now. I REALLY hope this happens...

Viloria has a very big puch for flyweight as well. The batamweights he has spared with all swear by his power.

No way would this be a ppv main event. Not a snowball chance in hell. Only real diehards would buy it, and ppv events need all the casual fans they can get. That's why Tyson still sells.

This fight would not sell. It's a great fight though.

I'd take Arce by late stoppage.
