Exactly the first fight that popped in my head when I saw this thread. You are the only one that got it right in my opinion. Foreman-Lyle was the most violent fight in recent memory that I can truly remember. Sure there are others are the lighter weights Gatti-Ward, Castillo-Corrales, Hagler-Hearns, Marquez-Vazquez Taylor- Chavez, but this heavy weight fight right here is the definition of savagery and violence combined together. Every punch was thrown with murderous intent and coming from serious heavyweights punchers at that so this definitely gets my number one vote.
