Maidana has stamina issues. He got almost knocked down by shot Morales in the last rounds of the fight. Nothing seems to have changed with Ariza as his conditioning coach. He was gasping for breath in the Broner fight.

not sure if you have selective memory or have simply forgotten, it was maidana who finished strong in that fight. morales got caught with a huge punch at the end of the 10th so he stopped fighting after that.

maidana threw every punch in the book for every second of every round against broner. name a fighter who can keep that pace up without being spent.
