First and foremost, a welterweight fight is contested between 141 - 147 pounds. Period, end of.

Second, you can't go on about Mayweather not making the agreed upon weight of 144lbs and dismissing his shutout win over Marquez while @ the same time parading around Bradley's SD win over the same guy as some kind of reason why he should be rated ahead of Mayweather. You can't have it both ways. Marquez has *never* weighed more than 144lbs for a fight - so your argument WRT the significance of beating Marquez @ welter is null and void - catchweight or no catchweight...

So what if Floyd called him a midget? What, all of a sudden you take Floyds word as gosspel? Or only when it suits your agenda?
Pac and Marq are the same size. You've seen marq vs Floyd and didn't notice the size difference?

By your flawed logic, Cotto fought at 154, just like Floyd so why doesn't Floyd go up and challenge the 160bers then? The old man cotto doing what the p4p TBE is afraid of doing. When has pac weighed over 150 at fight night? How about floyd? Check your facts

Anyway, back to Bradley. He should be #2 if he beats Pac but if he keeps beating p4pers and Floyd keeps picking on lesser competition, then stans like you will keep defending him but bradley might end up with the better career.

I'm not dismissing his win. I'm highlighting the question marks around it. Marquez jumps up two weight classes to fight Floyd at an agreed upon contractual weight of 144. Also, bradley clearly won his fight against Marquez. The SD Is as much a joke as the MD Floyd had vs Canelo.
My argument is Bradley has done more at WW the past two years than Floyd and it's really not much of an argument. It's the truth.

Most definitely not. Since this is mythical ranking, I still see that Mayweather is better than him and so is Ward. Mayweather would beat this guy if they ever fought, be it hard or easy way.

Wait at least until Bradley wins... See how he wins (if he does). And rate him after.

If there is a question mark around Floyd's win over Marquez then there is also a question mark around Tim's win seeing that Marquez weighed 144lbs for BOTH fights - with Marquez being 4 years older for the latter. You can't have it both ways.

Bradley Marquez was competitive. Mayweather Marquez was NOT. Call a spade a "spade".

Bradley's biggest win in the last two years was a SD over Marquez - Floyd's leftover and a former featherweight.. I'm sorry but that's not much of an argument to rank Bradley ahead of Mayweather @ 147 or P4P.

                Try again..

Floyd beating marquez and him being a featherweight have nothing to do with JMM being a GREAT fighter which he is, and yes bradley beat him convincingly but not on the scale of mayweather.

By your logic, TB is fighting a nobody, rustico torrecompos leftovers and a former flyweight. You can use far better arguments to make your point. It's actually just common sense floyd is ahead of bradley

What do you mean check your facts? I said they both walk around at about the same weight and thier fight night weights are about the same...... am i wrong? lol

Secondly you say Cotto is challenging himself by going up in weight? Well Mayweather has gone up more weights than Cotto so maybe you should check your own facts.

You are talking out of your ass bro.

As for Bradley, i like him as a fighter..... i think he is quality.....always have but he aint better than Mayweather and he wont have a better career either...... once again talking out your ass
