Mayweather and Maidana are having their big PPV fight in like a month and a half, both welterweight champions, Garcia just fought a top fighter in Herrera, and we had Alexander vs Porter not long ago. Chill out.
Thurman vs Matthysse is by far terrible in terms of matchmaking considering the loss on Lucas's part. Maidana vs Mayweather sure that is the 'big one' but to me it doesn't really interest me.
You want to see *competition* and Alexander vs Porter was exactly that. Porter was seen as the underdog and prospered using Alexanders tactics against him. Garcia vs Herrera was also another example.
With the names in their roster, GBP should have made the decisions already to kick off the year. Especially when you have fighters such as Khan and Guerrero who haven't even been in the ring for quite some time.

The year is basically just kicking off. When has January and February ever been a hot bed for boxing?

Talent is talent. He has his ups and downs just like everyone else. Competition is what is needed in this sport. Not bull**** fights!
