    Andre Dirrell: The missing man

Last time I seen Andre was in December at his little brothers fight against Bika

Andre said "2014 is my year, i will become the world champion in 2014"

I haven't heard anything since, and Andre hasn't fought in 13 months

    what gives?

    Trapped in the Matrix.

So after this extended layoff is it safe to assume that he wasn't faking against Abraham?

      No. Hell no.

His refusal to give Showtime any proof of injury while demanding more money to fight Ward (and subsequently pulling out of the fight) tells me he was Montel Griffining the whole time.

He's been on the shelf because he left Al Haymon to sign with 50 for some unbeknownst reason and has been in limbo every since.

Swear there's a 'where in the world is Andre Dirrell' thread every few weeks.

Isn't Andre still tied to 50 Cent's promotional company? Maybe he's waiting for the division to reach an all-time low (Ward moving up; Froch retiring; Kessler retiring; Abraham retiring (lol)) before launching a comeback?

Think he's career is pretty much over. That's kinda sad cause he's one talented boxer.

he jumped over to 50 then the whole thing collapsed, 50 does't care and concentrates on other things, andre is left in limbo. sad because at his very best he looked unbeatable.

Andre was relevant for about a milisecond. He is gone now and I hope the ***** stays gone.

He was moderately skilled with fast hands and faster feet but he couldn't stomach a fight.

Yes. He certainly has made some braindead career decisions subsequently.
