He has such a feel good story going for him though. He deserves a title since he beat Cancer which is a very difficult opponent.
Jacobs does earn a shot at Quillen though who has been feasting on dead corpses as well. Fernando Guerrero got a title shot before Jacobs

Yea...hasn't really beaten anybody good since his first loss. Best was Lorenzo and he wiped him.
Makes sense business wise kind of for Quillin.
Dude hasn't been fighting anything good and this is a fight that could finally have Quillin headlining his own event.
Only downside is Quillin stands a high chance of losing
Then again, he said himself that he's content fighting the level of opposition he's been facing to make that amount every time.
Unless they put money up for this, we won't see itComment

Jacobs definitely doesn't deserve a shot at a title belt. He's beaten nobody of note since losing to Pirog. Him getting a shot at the WBO middleweight belt would make it more of a joke than it already is with Quillin holding it. The WBO belt at middleweight is a total joke right now. None of the top middleweights are fighting for it.Comment
