Yes. This. Brandon Rios for example, a guy with a 31-2 record, gets repeatedly called a bum and a punching bag on this site. Amir Khan (28-3) gets often referred to as a bum. And the list goes on and on and on.

They may not be pound for pound guys, but they're competing at the world level for god's sake, and we have dudes behind computer screens calling them bums?

A fighter who may or may not possess the talent and or gift but fails because of laziness, irresponsibility as a professional, or similar attitude problems. He most likely does not give it his all in the gym. Showing up to collect a check is the attitude of a bum.
