I did know because i ran across a clip of him on the Spanish ESPN where he appeared as guest on talk show along with Chavez Sr. In fact i was gonna make a thread about it too.

Im not surprised because though I dont speak Spanish, but from what i know from talking to people who do speak it is that Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French are based out of Latin and over lap each other one way or another and have similar structure so if you speak one the other 3 are easier to pick up.

I knew this Brazilian (Portuguese) guy who used to hang out with Colombians in my high school and he told me he only picked up Spanish hanging out with them.
