Comments Thread For: Rances Barthelemy Inks Agreement With Al Haymon

Add another fighter to the list. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that undefeated Cuban super featherweight Rances Barthelemy (19-0, 12KOs) has reached an agreement to join the stable of powerful adviser Al Haymon.

Barthelemy, who is handled by promoters Leon Margules and Luis DeCubas Sr., was last seen in action in January when he stopped IBF champion Argenis Mendez in the second round. Barthelemy appeared to be on his way to a knockout victory, but he caught Mendez with a vicious shot a few seconds after the bell.

Haha this is crazy. Al Haymon signing everyone.

This is good news for Barthelemy. If he wins that rematch vs Mendez for the IBF belt, we could see him on Showtime very soon.

Al is going to get top heavy, start tripping on his own feet. One or some of these guys will lose and claim Haymon didn't spend enough time on them. Fighters need more attention than pure bred dogs, a lack of attention can dull a fighter, cost him wins. Ask Freddy, he wasn't at so and so's fight because he had to hold some "star's" bucket and his boy lost. Lot of waste in a big stable.

al haymon is looking to become the most powerful man in boxing. looking at his stable, multiple world champs from all weights. not one fighter has said a bad word about him so he must be doing the right thing.
