TBF it was probably his best case scenario. No KO power, no chance of winning on the rigged cards, but great performance and everybody knows he beat the champ. Of course his next purse would be much higher if he'd won officially, but his profile has increased a lot and he should get more opportunities, like Ruslan after Bradley.Comment

I feel really bad for Herrera . He went into the belly of the beast there in PR and did enough to win . I believe he will be rewarded even in defeat and get another big fight down the road. I think his days as a plumber are over with! ( Nothing against plumbers )Comment

The bad thing is unless he gets signed by a big promoter (is he already?) then he won't get any good fights without the belt he earned. Tat's the real tragedy in all this.. With the belt people couldn't avoid him. Now he has nothing to show for his effort. Nothing to offer other fighters with no belt.Comment
