Is it fair to say that the Eye was a big factor in the Matthysse Garcia fight

Mathed is my boy,but me and him disagree here..Garcia never had to rematch Matt's..IMO Bradley has to rematch Prov far more then Garcia has to rematch Matt's..Garcia Matt's was too clear cut..

beating a half blind guy by 2 points is clear cut? also factor in the dubious knockdown he received which would have given matthysse the win if weeks was a competent ref. also factor in all the excessive lowblows that he was allowed to get away with throughout the fight. how can that be clear cut? some people hate reality. it's not like this was floyd canelo where nothing happened in the fight. there were tons of controversial things and they all favored garcia.

keep lying to yourself. it was clearly caused by garcia poking him in the eye. i wouldn't be surprised if he did it on purpose since he couldn't land anything until matthyse became blind. Also why wasn't he dq'd? golota was dq'd for far less. if matthysse complained everytime garcia hit him low maybe it would have worked then again tony weeks was there so nevermind.

No that's Danny in my top 5 fav fighters..He's there for a reason too..He has a really good resume..No bias needed to know that..Just eyes..

Yeah I'll agree cuz Lucas just beating Danny, Ruslan was beating the crap outta Tim. Bradley is one tough mofo though. He resigned with Bob so we might get that fight again. Just hope it lives up to the first 1.

The eye was caused by a punch. So I would say that its fair to say Matthysse getting punched in the face was a big factor in that fight whereas Herrera slipping and blocking punches allowed him to be successful.

I think it much fairer to say the eye was probably started by several headbutts that weakened it, and a punch that finally set it off.

Matt's was put down by a punch..He did not slip and he was not pushed..A punch put him down..

These things you speak of that were controversial were not controversial at all..It's all part of boxing..Low blows rabbit punches KD punches that swell up or cut an eye are all things that can happen in the ring..You have to be prepared for it all..Matt's was not and loss..Hell I have not even heard Matt;s speak Garcia's name since the fight..
