    Danny won...

Allow me to play devils advocate for a second. I think Danny won. He was the only one landing counter punches and hard shots. He was stepping back letting Herrara get his jabs in and wailing him on the back end. A lot of shots were missing its true, but the ones that were landing were hard. I think Herrara has a good poker face but I saw those shots land. And we can all agree Herrara wasnt exactly packing heat in his punches, but Danny was. Thats why I can agree with the decision. I think the poll on this site is ridiculous. 100+ fools for Herrara and only like 10 for Garcia? The power punches was 150-82. Danny was catching that fool.

Snapping ones head back doesnt mean much. Usually it just means they got hit square on the chin. I saw Danny land some vicious and brutal power punches and just cause Herrara ate it with a straight poker face doesnt mean he didnt feel them. I remember thinking after 4, Danny has all 4, but overboard boxing enthusiasts like the ones on this site will insist that Herrara is winning and when the fight is over they will insist that he won. And I was right. His jab gameplan was effective boxing, but Danny was hitting him with all kinds of shots throughout the fight. Seems like people are so surprised with Herrara's effectiveness, that they didnt even notice Danny was still hitting him.

There is no way Garcia won that fight, I find it difficult to give him more than 1 round after watching it for the second time! First time I scored it 9-3 to Herrera, second viewing it could be argued that Herrera dominated and shut out Danny virtually completely. That was pretty much a boxing lesson by Herrera, a masterclass.

Watch it again and you'll see what I mean.

One guy pushed all the action, landed more shots, busted up the other guys face and looked like the champion in the ring...the other guy won the fight...
