I'm worried about Bradley's health because they decided not to do RDT.

What's so complicated about this? NSAC instituting random "OST style" testing is the best case scenario. How is it better having private contracts with test agencies, who in the best case will forward the result to the same commission, but may also keep it quiet cause it hurts their employer the promoter?Comment

VADA does NOT do their own testing. None of them do their own testing. Not even USADA. Not the agencies in Europe, none of them. VADA doesn't even have their own staff to take samples, they hire an outside agency to take the samples. This is fact.Comment

Testing being done by both agencies is a useless concept. It's useless because the testing takes place in the same and/or similar accredited labs. All VADA and NSAC do is just get the samples, then send them off to a lab. So whether or not they use VADA or NSAC is irrelevant.
The only issue is that this is professional boxing and NSAC doesn't have the cleanest reputation.
But again, using both is a hopeless concept. For instance, when Bradley used both VADA and NSAC at the same time -- he was the fool. The first law is that you protect yourself at all times. Taking a random drug test is NOT protecting yourself, you are protecting your opponent only. Meanwhile, the foolish boxer isn't protected from his opponent! Insanity. You are a boxer, not Jesus.
Isn't that trying to get as close as we can to a 'double blind' setup?
While they might use the same facility to test the samples, the chain of custody of the blood could be quite different between the two.Comment

I dont think its the drug testing that will be bradleys big problem.. I think it will be more of the fact that bradley's punch resistance and chin have been wrecked in the ruslan fight.. Jmm wasnt a big enough puncher and too slow to pull the trigger on bradley, but when he did land flush, i didnt like how bradley reacted, but he was lucky that jmm could never sustain the momentum..
Manny's chin and punch resistance is damaged as well, but bradley doesnt have the power or the elite counterpunching like jmm does, to really cause manny damage..
I think manny can land a straight down the pipe, he can wreck bradley, and with manny's hand and foot speed, i think he can get bradley into trouble and finish him...Not the most likely scenario, i still like manny via decision, but it wont shock me if manny stops bradley in under 6Comment

I don't understand how you could think using both tests would be a useless idea. Aren't you the least bit curious what would happen in such an experiment?

I'm not in the least bit curious because the samples get taken to the same facility and/or exact replica facility for testing. So there is no difference. If you want the random testing to be done more often, or frequently, it's better to request that from the one SINGLE agency.
Keep in mind, the more frequent, the more intrusive/interruptions it is for a fighter in training. It's annoying.
The only difference I guess you can argue is the way in which samples are taken may be different and may make a difference in results. With Brandon Rios, whoever VADA hired was kinda unprofessional about it. So other than that, it really doesn't interest me.Comment
