BAYAMON, Puerto Rico - Unified Super Lightweight World Champion Danny "Swift" Garcia (28-0, 16 KOs) defeated Mauricio "El Maestro" Herrera (20-4, 7 KOs) via a majority decision to remain undefeated on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd at Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING®.

With the raucous crowd partial to the defending champion, whose father was born and raised in Puerto Rico, Garcia seemed to be carried by the cheers in what turned out to be the toughest fight of his career. At the end of the fight, SHO STATS reported that Garcia had landed 150 power punches compared to Herrera's 82. Herrera landed more overall punches with 221 to Garcia's 204. Garcia was in trouble from the weighin until the end of the fight.he was'nt calm as usual and was taking in heavy fluids.the weight definitely affected him.even though Herrera connected more affectively he made a big mistake with that tough guy macho crap in front of the wrong crowd.garcia vs money at 147.

I guess Danny Garcia's team picked these pictures cause they don't do any justice to what really went on in the ring. Herrera CLEARLY won the fight & the fighter from PHILADELPHIA(NOT Puerto Rico) got a GIFT from all 3 of the judges, the Mexican & Puerto Rican judge had him up by 4 rounds(which is just WRONG) & the Panamanian judge was also wrong in having it a draw.

I like how Every time after the round Showtime tried to show a highlight replay of the so called amazing combinations that Danny threw, only to show he didn't land ****, lol. The commentators were just like, "well he grazed Herrera there" lol

Judges had to be fixed .. No way Garcia won this fight.. Garcia dad was actually calling his own son a mother f ucked, do something in between every round hahaha

That was hilarious and sad at the same time as you knew the corrupt judges were using those moments to justify scoring for Danny. Those missing "power punches".
