Floyd is as far away from a throwback as you can get. When Floyd became p4p n01 and a name he went AWOL for years. Its fine when you are just a champion you can escape under the radar, because Floyd werent known when RJJ, Barrera and Hamed were the names and at their peak. I didnt even know FLoyd and his claim to fame was he may one day be a credible opponent for Hamed to fight.

When Pac became the name though, when he beat Barrera, Pac didnt go into hiding and instead became a wrecking ball for 7 years, doing all the fighting for Floyd, when Floyd was in hiding. FLoyd went into hiding as he knew when you are considered the best and man to beat it gets harder as everyone calls you out.

Thats why FLoyd is an unbeaten fighter of this era, whilst Pac is the best of this era.

Nah, Pac ain't a throwback. They didn't take Peds back then. They didn't have catchweights back then and they didn't duck fights back then like Pac did with Shane before Floyd beat him up, and Pac wouldn't have asked for Five Million for each lb Floyd was overweight. And lastly, a real throwback fighter would have fought Floyd back in 2010 instead of ducking and running and fighting Clottey instead.
