In what world is Scott a legitimate contender or someone who can be in a title shot eliminator coming off a loss? The guy has no power, no heart, and basically no chin...he fought probably just as bad guys as Wilder yet only knocked out about 12 of them. Skills alone don't pay the bills in the heavyweight division. You need power, you need ring IQ, you need heart, you need a chin. That's your pre-requisites. Being a slick heavy with decent speed and jab will not win you anything. It is funny though how people say he is some up and comer - the guy's been a pro for 14 years!!

Left hook hit him right in the temple with the left, finished with the right. It's pretty obvious it was a temple shot, he was clearly off balance as soon as he got hit with it and was still off balance when he was on the ground which is why his legs were up in the air.

How did club a fighter Nikolai Firtha not only took lot's of punches from Wilder, but also pushed him and hurt him, and a contender like Scott got KOed by a slap?
There's something fishy here. Maybe Wilder does have monstrous power, but still, it was a weird fight.

Wilder was never hurt by Firtha, got knocked off balance by a jab but that was it. Firtha took a lot of punches but also took a massive beating. Boxing is a strange, unpredictable sport, I've seen fighters knocked out with even less.

Scott looked nervous as hell, coming off a KO loss against Chisora 2 fights ago.

And to those who think this was fixed I ask you, what does Scott have to gain? Scott's career may never be the same after this, he takes a huge step back after this loss, after all the work he put in to get there. Wilder isn't some superstar either, he's still fighting for 5 figure pay days, and has a very small fan base.

That picture is deceiving, the right didn't land. If you watch the replays in slow motion you can see it's just the slappy left hand to the temple that lands, he's already on his way down when the right is thrown and blocked, it may have touched him on his way down but no possible damage done with it.

scott beat glazkov who just beat adamek and had a close fight with chisora until an early stoppage. thats much more of a contender then alex moonpie, francisco pinata, or jean old mormeck. who's the real champ? oh yeah its wilder until wlad grows a pair and takes his ko1 loss like a man. as the immortal deontay wilder said "estoy aqui!"
