If you have a long enough reach youll always be able to bother Pacquiao (kinda like Douglas against Tyson) and keep him out of rhythm with his punches the most effective way to do this is by using jabs and straights just like Morales did, but the key is that in the last fight Erik's jab wasnt as much of a factor which goes to show the improvement on pacquiao's part technically

Manny kept going back because of bad preparation and bad technical strategies. It showed in the first fight that he lacked the technical skills on how to counter and how to fight while going backwards.

Let me give you a food for thought.

If EM couldn't even make PAC's knees buckle after he punched PAC so many times, after PAC has been bloodied for most of the fight, then what are the chances that EM is a hard puncher? lol! Kinda sucks when we try to use logic by analogy.

In the future naysayers, at least try to formulate arguments with at least THE MINIMUM credibility and linear reality.

Because if you don't, it will only backfire hard on you naysayers. And this is what's happening now.

Are you guys ****ing ******ed? He got a lucky-ass punch in there. Manny has taken shots from both Barerra and Morales, several times. Morales hit him clean dozens of times during both fights. There is no question as to how good his chin is when he can take their punches. His opponent got lucky, that's all.

Most boxers at one point in their career are buckled. Although this punch did not appear to be a "knockdown-punch", it happened to knock him down. Pac is a different fighter now, and that is evident with the MAB, and EM fights. I believe that when freddie roach commenced training Pacman, Pacman became a different fighter. Everyone knows that PAC does not have a "glass chin". Did the Jab stun him? yes. Did it change the result of the fight?..... no. Pac won that fight by TKO(cut).

Ridiculing fighters is wrong, whether it is EM, PAC, MAB, or whoever else.

Im sure if footage like this existed of EM or MAB, some of the Pacnuthuggers would gladly post it, but all of us should be the bigger men here and stop posting threads that are meant to ridicule fighters.

not really. he did not have the right strategy by the first fight. and he didn't realy know how to fight backing up and i wouldn't characterize that as being stunned at all...

There is a huge different in being buckled, than being dropped by a jab.
