After the Szpilka fight. He did an interview where he said from this point he's only going to fight for a title. He wouldn't even consider the idea of any fight that wasn't a title shot.

Not saying his view is right/smart, but this move is consistent with what he said then.

I guess we'll never see him again then, until the great belt grab of 2015

He may as well have said quack quack followed by quack quack quack.

What is sad about the heavyweight division is that none of the top fighters are willing to fight each other. Pulev, Adamek, Fury, Wilder, Jennings, Povetkin and Helenius are supposedly among the top fighters in the division and none are willing to fight each other because they are all afraid they will lose their place in line to fight for a championship when Wladimir Klithschko retires. Half of these guys were *****i.ng when they weren't chosen to fight for the vacant title when Vitaly retired. However, Arreola and Stiverne were the only top fighters willing to fight each other, so a rematch between them for the vacant championship was the only fight that made sense. All these other guys, or their management team, are too afraid to risk a loss, so they continue to degrade the heavyweight division by fighting weak opposition.

Fury was unwilling to face the Banks Mitchell winner,as was arranged,so with Arreola being the next highest ranked boxer after beating Mitchell he was ordered to face Stiverne again.

Do you remember after Cris lost against Stiverne and they said where to now Cris ? He said right back to it,I'll fight anyone to get back in line.i just gotta start again.there is no Mexican favouritism within the WBC,just an appreciation of a guy committed to the WBC.after his Vitali and Adamek losses he fought 5-6 times in a year, kinda like the Wilder blueprint to fasttrack himself into tit,e contention.collecting some noteworthy early kos for his record too,Walker,Aguilera etc.

                Jennings signed with Gary Shaw.
