Actually a very good question. Ali was suffering before the shavers fight. But.....would Ali have beaten Foreman and Frazier if he hadn`t scarifaced health to win the rumble and the Thrilla respectively?

he was too old to fight when he fought & lost to holmes. it wasn't because he has parkinson's disease. parkinson's disease just came out after retirement. don't know im not so sure if ali disclosed this sickness when he was still fighting. anyone knows the story abt this?

I had read that Ali had Parkinson's when he fought Holmes but Don King didn't disclose the information until after Ali's fights.

i dont think so. Ali's sacrifice in the ring is what made him great.
