Four division world champion and 2012 “Fighter of the Year” Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire has decided to train in Manila for his attempt to win a fifth world title when he battles WBA/IBO featherweight champion Simpiwe Vetyeka in Macau on May 31.

Nonito’s father and trainer Nonito “Dodong” Donaire Sr. told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that he had spoken to his son who informed him he would leave for the Philippines on March 22 so he could be in time for the Annual Gabriel “Flash” Elorde Awards at the grand ballroom of the Sofitel Hotel on Roxas Boulevard.

First of all. Donaire never actually trained with Robert Garcia. Donaire always trained with the either Penalosa brothers, or someone else. Donaire probably just wanted scapegoat in Robert Garcia when he loses.

It's crazy how much that loss to Rigo has damaged Donaires psyche. he is not the same at all. He doesn't need a new trainer, he needs to grow up. You lost to an amazing fighter. OK so you may not be as good as you thought you were. Back to the drawing board is all. Like, "There's no need to get your panties all in a bunch darling".

So he is going for his 4th division title not 5th!
