Quiet frankly I dont like Floyd either. But if Tszyu-PBF fight happens it will have a wide appeal because 2 pound for pound best fighters are gonna go at it not cause Floyd is so damn loved by people.

But, I really don't get very juiced for his fights.

I feel the same way.Out of all the 140pounders,Mayweather still manages to fight a unknown fighter in Bruseles. It's quite obvious that PBF is gonna win every round, and dominate a lopsided boring fight.I'l be LMFAO if PBF doesn't dominate a fighter named Bruseles.

he can still make it exciting even if he dominates. Remember hopkins vs tito? that wasn't even competitive, but it was still fun to watch

You're just going to have to accept that Floyd is not that popular.
Whatever the reason, he just doesn't have a very broad appeal.

Where do you get all that from off of what I said. I dont care if people dont like him, I was just stateing that they dont. That doesnt bother me one bit. It does bother me that people try to downplay his skills and accomplishments. Most dont like him because he is ranked so high on the #4# and over Zoo. They also assume that young fighters like Cotto and Hatton will beat him when they havent faced anyone. Everytime theres a thread about Mayweather against almost anyone the majority thinks that he will lose. There's even some who think that Chico would beat him the next time around. I think his last 2 fights have been exciting since he has become more offensive and I think this one will be too

The reason people downplay his skills is because he doesn't appeal to them....they WANT him to lose.

That was what I was trying to say....& that you'll have to understand you won't get many to change their tune.

This is simply a mismatch. I cant wait for Gatti VS Floyd that will be a great fight. Altough i think Gatti is to slow and will get used like a punching bag. (He does have one punch knockout power that is his one thing he has going for him)

That certainly doesn't sound anything like a great fight.

All Im saying is that I know this and I dont want them to change their tune because when the fighter wins it makes it even more satisfying

If you don't want them to change their tune....why do you get into such heated debates with them on the subject ?

I have to defend these guys if no one else will. These boards are heavly populated with Cotto, Zoo, and Hatton fans. When it's a topic about Floyd it's usally just me and a couple of others against hundreds and I like the challange even know at the end of the day I will be outnumbered and I just move on
