A LOT......and I mean A LOT of people never thought Canelo would fight Austin Trout, coming off the Delvin and Cotto wins, when he was undefeated and basically the #1-2 fighter at 154. So don't automatically rule this out as cheap talk.

I think Canelo knows he needs to fight Lara pretty soon. People have been talking about that fight since before Canelo fought Trout. And Canelo is absolutely capable of beating Lara, but I'm picking Lara if it happens, going with my guy.

But this fight should happen in July, then the winner could fight the Cotto-Martinez winner later in the year possibly.

Gotta admit, I was surprised when canelo fought trout. I was so excited for that fight last year.

he has to fight the tought oponent at the right time, not 3 years later when they are done. For example. Lara is in his prime now. Is not the same if he wait some years and lara be old.

If Canelo fights Lara, you had better hype Lara to the roof because he'll be considered nothing more that a bum after Canelo beats him.

3 months into the year and already people saying he ducking. Lara will get the ass kicking hes begging for but doesnt need to be next.

I suspect you just want Canelo to avoid this fight so when people say "Floyd ducked Lara" you can say "Canelo did, too!".

We don't need another duckmaster in professional boxing preventing the best fights from being made.

Hopefully, this fight doesn't get made. It will be Canelo chasing this coward, just a waste of a fight. I'd rather see him fight Kirkland or someone who comes to fight and makes for an entertaining matchup.

Canelo vs Lara is a great matchup of skills and I think stylewise, they compliment each other. Canelo would have to adjust to a southpaw, Lara to Canelo's physicality. Lara thrilled in his win over Trout and deserves the shot.

When are people going to learn. You can't put Canelo in with a mover until he learns to cut off the ring. Trout and Mayweather were disasters for his reputation. Lara and Sergio would be also. GGG would be a great fight but Canelo is stubbornly staying at 154? Couldn't make weight last fight....why not just move up and stop bullying smaller guys.

sure. Im not here to protect by fighter lara. If canelo beats him then ill show my respect to him and he ia the best of both.
