Cotto should land his jab early but I don't see it going well for him after the first few rounds. Cotto was a decent sized ww but at 154 he was small so I don't see why they decided to go up to mw.

Cotto had the speed, power and experience advantage.
Sergio has the speed, height, strength, power, reach. It's a steep hill to climb.Comment

By the looks of the amount of comments here stating that Cotto has no chance, I'd say he lost already. I guess no one is going to buy the PPV or go to the fight. I mean why bother everyone seems to be sure he's not going to win.
And the whole size deference thing he should go back down to 147. truth be told if the guy goes back to 147 he will struggle to make weight.Comment

Although I think the outcome has been predicted... I'm buying this fight, because Cotto has a boxer's chance... It's relevant... Cotto is going for his 4th... Martinez might be done... or he might just beat the s.hit out of Cotto... plus it's not a recycled fight... This is the only PPV I will buy this year... I'll watch all of them, but I will only pay for this one...Comment

My bad, I was talking about the fights that have been announced... But GGG vs Martinez is PPV worthy... Chavez vs GGG proves nothing... Now Chavez Ward is PPV worthy... I think Chavez stops GGG btw... Yes stops or comes close in the late rounds...Comment

He's still not a small middleweight, he's a career middleweight who's never fought below the division. AT least Martinez started his career at 147 and fought at 154 for many years.
If anything I'd say GGG is an average sized middleweight, (5'11, 170 pounds), but there is no way in hell he makes 154.Comment

Hell no. Cotto is arrogant as hell, too arrogant for his own good. To make matters worse he has Roach in his corner. Another arrogant guy who surely thinks Cotto can beat Martinez.Comment
