Comments Thread For: Wilder: Haye Would Have Beat Fury, I'd Face Chisora

The heavyweight knockout king, Deontay Wilder (30-0, 30KOs), says David Haye should have went forward with his planned fight against Tyson Fury. The bout was scheduled twice, and Haye withdrew both times with injuries. Haye announced his retirement after undergoing shoulder surgery earlier this year, but then left the door open for a potential ring return in the future.

IFs and WOULD haves do not exist in boxing.

I'd prefer if he fought Fury, I think he'd present a tougher challenge due to his size and Fury also has some power in those hands.

Wilder's experience of fighting in England is bowling over Audley Harrison - so of course he loves it so far! I mean, that's a step down from the usual level of bums Wilder ices in his record breaking KO streak.

Let's hope he backs up his words and comes over to face Chisora. Let's see if he still loves fighting in England after that.

Scott has skills and if he applies them fully he could give Wilder something (maybe plenty) to think about. There was a bit of controversy about the ending to the Chisora bout so this is a chance for Malik to put that behind him and gatecrash the lucrative area of this business. But does he truly believe in himself. I suspect not.

I dont even want to hear Haye and Furys name in the same sentence again, and I would rather Deontay not annoy us with what haye would do. He had his chance and pulled out twice..

Fury vs Wilder I want now. A poor substitute but good nonetheless.

Really? He already had a chance to face Chisora and pussed straight out. Until Wilder beats a top 25 heavyweight even hes full of crap as far as i am concerned.
