So fighting the top champions in his division is not meaningful fights? and he just mention Stevenson and wants to unify all the belts what the hell are you talking about?

I got all the time in the world for B'Hop - a true living legend of boxing. Hell, why not unify with Shumenov? That it's even considered a winnable fight for Hopkins at 49 goes to show how remarkable he is...

However, there's 4 beltholders...if, somehow, Kovalev doesn't get a look-in, any match up between Adonis and BHop leaves a big unanswered question IMO.

Oh the ignorance of the online geniuses that are the trolls.. Cherry picking.. Hopkins is forty fkn nine years old you nimrods. The fact that his name is in the mix and that he is fighting another YOUNG champion, albeit not a RJJ talented one, is still remarkable. Him fighting at 49 is impressive.. fighting young strong fighters like Cloud, Dawson, Murat and now Shumenov at 49 is impressive...him being a World Champion at 49 is unheard of and the possibly of him being a unified World Champion at 49-50 would have been called "Unimaginable" or "Unthinkable" or even considered impossible by all of us if asked 10 - 15 years ago.

If that's not impressive enough for you, BHop is fighting at this age and is still NOT getting beat up and hurt by these younger faster and stronger boxers. He's not getting knocked out or even knocked down, yet here you geniuses are saying he should hang em up? Baaaah Balderdash!!

Bernard can definitely do this he beats this guy and if the fight ever happens with Stevenson he definitely has the boxing skills to beat him we all know that.

BHop, the con-artist, fooling people into thinking he's special. An Alien only against mediocre fighters like this guy he's fighting next. But when he steps up to real talent ( Dawson ), he loses or struggles, and look human. BHop's sticking around to fight C level oppositions around these weak divisions.

And this is nonsense. But this one (judging by his handle) might be a troll, whereas the other one is a legitimate mouth-breathing dip****.

If Hopkins is claiming to look through him, he better be careful. If he decides to fool around against Shumenov like he did against Murat, he'll probably get knocked out cold. Shumenov's power is real. The way he threw that right hand against Tomas Kovacs reminded me of Wlad's right hand.

True. He likes to stalk his opponent and search for an opening, then load up with monster shots that can floor almost anyone if they land cleanly. But of course if he fights that way against Bernard, he's going to lose badly. You can't think too much against Hopkins, you have to pressure him. If Shumenov doesn't come into that ring like an uncaged tiger, it'll be an easy night for The Alien.
