I'm guessing it's a bit of mind games and ego from Cotto. To be fair Cotto is right in that he is the A side fighter in this case. Don't know if making Martinez mad is good or bad. We will see on the night.
Hoping Cotto wins this fight. Damn he has fought Manny, Mayweather Mosley, Judah and going to fight Martinez. What a list of names, no shame in losing to the best.
    War Cotto

      Cotto the A side ...
There's champs and there's challengers and Cotto isnt the champ so just STFU.
This fool deserves the beating he's going to get.

since cotto has all the demands, he could have let martinez came out second

Just as well none of that pish will matter when Cotto is lying spark out on the canvass with his usual burst tomato face, after sustaining an absolute shellacking.

Cotto has a valid point but over all Martinez shouldn't care because he got the fight and a chance to retire Cotto which he will. Cotto is going to get beat down.

I agree with Cotto's terms but the champ should be introduced second in the ring out of respect. I believe Mayweather has done that most of the times he has challenged for a belt.

The Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Guerrero negotiations were almost non existent because of how smooth they were. He let Cotto fight at 154 and come in 2nd.

So I really don't understand this comment, however, I understand that you are not too fond of Floyd and probably exaggerated his personality.
I was more thinking about Cotto's "I'm the A-Side, he is the B-side" statement when I made that comment. It sounds Floyd-esque.

Isn't this what Floyd usually says when deriding potential opponents? In fact, Cotto using the exact phrase "A-side" doesn't seems like it is from his dictionary. He must've heard Floyd say it.

Cotto is right, he is the A side in this fight.
