Is Bernard Hopkins the Most Disciplined Fighter of All Time?

This man even holds his breath when he runs past people smoking. Hasn't touched alcohol in god knows how long. Super healthy diet which is largely vegan but he does eat organic deer and buffalo meat.

    Yes he is.

Most fighters don't have that type of meticulous discipline to diet, and living a clean life.

B hop doesn't go to clubs, he eats healthy, cleans his body, is picky on what type of lotions he uses on his skin, what he eats, works out year round, gets at least 8 hours sleep a day.

Fighters are normally wild men, they have vices, this is B hops vice, he was able to focus his obsession with being healthy, instead of focusing it on negative things and drugs and partying.

I don't take anyone seriously when they refer to anyone of this era as "all time" in anything, 99% of the posters on this site know too little about the sport to make such asinine statements, me included.

What I can say, is that he is incredibly healthy and disciplined, it's very impressive and commendable, true dedication to his craft, his, body, and health.

Lol I'm sure there are hundreds of professionals who fought in older eras who have had the same amount of year careers as B Hop.

Off the top, JCC Sr. and SRR have fought as long if not longer than Hopkins.

Now if you're talking fighters at age 50?... Not sure who there is to name

There is an old interview about his time in prison. He said they would release a weakly menu of the food. He said it was mostly junk and unhealthy so he would save all his junk food and trade other inmates for the healthy food. I'll try to find the article was really cool.

Marciano was legendary as far as training and conditioning went. He saved the carousing for after he retired.
