How many boxers have had a better resume @ WW than Margarito in this generation? Ready....set...go!

First making Hagler quit in another thread and now this?

How does he stand up to GGG, tho?
Batters GGG by 1st Round KO obviously. The man is untouchable. An attacking wonder and a defensive specialist. All of his losses can be attributed to shady referee decisions and other fighters using PEDS and Plaster together(and he still won most of those fights). Hearns wouldn't stand a chance.

Mayweather, Mosley, Cotto, Pacquiao(although he has a limited amount of fights at welterweight), probably more if you discard margarito's win over Cotto.

Why discard it? Cause of the opinion that he cheated? Well we might as well take Mosley off then right? Double standards much?

            Mosley...HOF/ATG(depends how you see it)
Mayweather/Pacquiao...ATGs. Top it off, you can still find ways to debate it.

Well, he has a perfectly good explanation for all of those "losses".

Those three early losses don't count, he was a kid.

              Daniel Santos- Marg was robbed.

Paul Williams- Worst robbery of all time.

Shane Mosley- Doesn't count, Mosley is the biggest steroid user in boxing, the drug tests were thrown away.

Manny Pacquaio- Doesn't count, Pac is a proven steroid cheater. Plus he put hot Chinese mustard on his gloves which permanently ruined Marg's eye. The gloves were burned after the fight.

Miguel Cotto- Robbery, Marg clearly won every round while Puto ran away. Everyone got paid off to end the fight early.

Marg makes Fagler quit in two rounds

I am a Margarito fan and never thought he won fights with loaded gloves. I think he was a very good fighter with a great chin and threw a great number of good punches every round. But youare carried away with how good he was to the point of being just plain ******. Margarito was very good put not an all time great and he would not beat all time greats. He was not very fast and he was easy to hit and hit often. You say it has already been established on here that he would have stopped Hagler but you are lying. I was on here when you made that absurd thread and nobody agreed with you. They all thought Hagler would destroy Margarito. The fact that you say Leonard could not punch shows your lack of knowledge about great boxers of the past. Hearns was an all time great two or three levels above Margarito. He knocked out good fighters like Margarito with ease as Duran and Pipino Cuevas could tell you. Please stop with these insane threads of Margarito knocking out all time great fighters who were completely out of his class and would have Mosleyed him.

I am of the opinion that Margarito cheated so I feel perfectly justified in discounting his win against Cotto. The fact that he never KO'd another opponent after getting caught says more about it than I ever could. But I don't want to get involved in that debate again.

Cotto's wins over Judah and Mosley alone are better than anything Margarito did at Welterweight. Margarito beat a young Sergio Martinez and has a pair of good wins against Kermit Cintron.

Even if you discard Mosley's second fight against De la Hoya(who incidentally is another fighter with a superior resume at WW to Margarito), then his resume still ****s on Margarito's.

Also, Cotto and Mosley both have wins over Margarito(though Cotto's wasn't technically at WW).

Hagler would lay Margacheato out with the two plaster inserts lying next to his ears on the canvas.

                    .

I notice you only have 10 posts and all of them in threads you started about Margarito knocking out two all time great fighters who would have slaughtered Margarito. Did you join boxing scene just to establish Margarito as the greatest welterweight who ever lived? If you did then give it up because it's not working.
