If Floyd did what Canelo did to Lara, you would say Floyd is ducking Lara.

Why? You are entitled to your opinion, but can you give something tangible please. Anything.

Only complete Mayweather butt boys try to play dumb and say they were the same.
Except beating quality fighters. Baldo fought floyd in Nov 2006. At the time we are discussing, Margs, despite everything you are saying, had no wins over anyone as good as Zab.

He fought in April 2005 then took off almost a year until he fought Gomes (i think) in Feb 06 than took off another 10 months until he fought Clottey. He wasn't even winning complete fights before this. If I recall he had like 3 Technical decisions and a UD after KOing 6 heads.

The truth is he hadn't beaten anyone of note and showed the same kind of inactivity that fighters get crucified for. He was a higher volume puncher, no question. Hitting harder-maybe. This doesn't make you better.

Not relevant. I gave you tangible things to support my opinion, not just more opinions like dirk. You don't have to agree, I'm cool with that. Just at least be able to point to something tangible.

I had Baldomir winning. I would've picked Judah over Margs then.

judah was 1-6 at welterweight against top 10 fighters. can we stop overrating this dunce? judah, mithell, and baldomir better than margarito who was ranked #1 for over 3 years? mitchell wasn't ranked, judah was coming off a terrible loss to a bum, and baldomir was an unknown bum. floyd always fights on cinco de mayo in order to attract mexican fans but he couldn't fight a mexican who was ranked #1 for 3 straight years? ducking is a hell of a thing

he beat sergio in 2000/01. Sergio clearly is not who he was going to be. so much so that the win is largely forgotten.
