Not the only one who thinks so.... Cotto is to small and will get laid out by Martinez... only people who think differently are Cotto fans that are delirious and in a dream
Martinez's weakness is a jab and that style will always be tamed with a good strong well timed jab. Cotto on his jab alone can balance out the size disadvantage. And i'm telling you guys, I love Martienz and I'm expecting him to win and I hope he does but he's looked fast against big slow zombies, Cotto will be on par if not faster come fight night and Cotto's style and aggression and timing is gonna expose Martinez's recent lack of defense reflexes. ASSUMING Martinez's recent injuries don't show up and aren't a problem, which his a big IF, then Martinez has the slight advantage and should win a good fight, if it is a problem than his best chance is if he can really catch Cotto and put his lights out, other wise Cotto's gonna break him down and if his legs fail he might even put him down...I literally can't think of any scenario where this turns into a bad fight!

I'm a bit of Cotto critic, but I admit Martinez is not the same, he's there for the taking, as seen against Macklin, Chavez Jr(12th round), Barker(First 6 rounds). He's old, inactive, probably injury prone.
I won't mention Murray because he's huge, I can't see Cotto doing what Murray did because he's not Murray, he's not a 6' tall big defensive guy like Murray. But Macklin, Barker and Cotto do have similarities, Cotto is better than both however.
Don't get me wrong, I pick Martinez to win by decision. I just don't want to count Cotto out.
WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28KOs) is confident he will prevail on June 7th, when he defends his belt against former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (38-4, 31KOs) at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
After losing back to back fights to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Austin Trout in 2012, Cotto hired the services of Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach and returned last year with an easy knockout win over Delvin Rodriguez.

The fight is 60/40 in Martinez favor.
I like them both but will be rooting for the under dog in this one.
