Cotto didn't want to give interviews because he was embarrassed to lose to lesser soft hitting B level opponents such as Floyd and trout. I'd want to leave the room quick too if I got beat by guys that hit like girls. Cotto only shows respects to fighters who can literally stop him except for margarito.

People lose, they get bloodied and beat up, and still give interviews. Cotto, like many puerto rican fighters, is just a poor sport when hes on the losing end.
