Why do posters continue to discredit Floyd's resume because he ducked fighters???

floyd fans revising history. floyd fought hoya instead of margarito....um no. he fought baldomir after paying top rank 725k in order to avoid his last fight. fight a popular mexican on ppv for 8 million or fight an unknown for 7.25 million? floyd less money mayweather.

Except Floyd was suppose to fight Oscar that fall and Floyd already bought himself out because he thought that was going to happen then.

So then Oscar decided to not fight until Spring, leaving Floyd holding his **** in his hands after buying out his contract. Floyd did try to pursue Mosley also, but that was the tooth-ache excuse although that had more to do with Oscar already lining that fight up.

So then Floyd could have either fight Baldomir in a one off biding his time, or he could have went crawling back to Arum and to get the money for the Margarito fight he would have to sign long term (remember the issue about what he would get paid for Hatton and Cotto, it wasn't a one fight deal~) thus killing his chance to get Oscar.

Cotto left Arum then came back. Floyd said that he is his own boss, right? Well, he could have taken that one fight with Margarito , right? Don't tell me that Cotto can but not Floyd, who is his own boss?

Arum had Margarito hanging and waiting for Floyd to take the fight.

If Floyd wanted that fight it was there but he preferred to fight Baldomir. Again, it's not like Margarito wasn't available.

He ducked a prime Margarito (who could have been cheating) "because we not fighting to see who the best is."

Because hes too calculated and methodical with his picking of opponents. He is fighting a guy who lost to Pacs sparring partner, whilst Pac fights Bradley, Floyds future superfight.

He lets Miguel Cotto fight Sergio when all this time people wondered when he was going to. Never takes risks. Drains Canelo, yet SSM didn't even feel the need to do that at his advanced age.

Too much about the zero and not trying to show how good he can be.

Canelo looked every bit as slow in the Angulo fight then he did in the Floyd fight,i did not see any difference.And how about all the cherry picking Pac has done with his avoidance of Sergio Martinez when he was 154 pound champ,avoidance of Zahir Raheem,Avoidance of Floyd back in 2010 when Floyd offered him 50%,avoidance of Nate Campbell.And how about Gaylovkin cherry picking fighters.

Martinez said he was willing to fight Floyd at 150,Floyd said oK,but yet Martinez didn't even give Floyd a call.And Mosley has never fought in 5 weight classes like Floyd and Mosley was not a small middleweight.Canelo is a humongous middleweight who should be fighting at middleweight.The guy came in at 174 for his last fight.

You are trying to hard. Cotto, just like shane, odh and Manny, all decided not to fight Floyd when they were prime. They all figured it was better to beat lesser fighters than risk losing. WHen ODH was on his way out, he decided to fight floyd. When SHane was broke , he decided to fight floyd. WHen Miguel needed to resurrect his career, he decided to fight floyd. When manny had tax problems, he decided to take PED testing and then he refused the no ppv offer. of course he refused the fight and to take these same tests when he was prime

Everyone knows it was THE fight in boxing in 2008 and Floyd "retired".
