Driffield’s Curtis Woodhouse has revealed that he cannot resist the urge to defend his British light-welterweight title and has therefore decided to put his retirement plans on ice. Woodhouse had pledge to walk away after fighting Darren Hamilton for the belt, but has opted to fight on in the wake of his split decision win over the Bristolian.
Woodhouse was already having second thoughts when BoxingScene spoke to him on the Monday after the contest, he today took to Twitter to confirm that these second thoughts have become increasingly hard to ignore.
