All he has is good handspeed. His defense is running around the ring so I don't consider that a talent since anybody off the street can do that. He has no knockout power and his hands are like pretzels.
Only handspeed? He also has foot speed, a good chin, and exceptional reflexes. And NO not just any guy off the street can defend as well as Floyd. Floyd can make guys miss while standing in front of them.

I would say Tim Bradley and Andre Ward are the least naturally talented while being some of the most accomplished. Ward's foot speed and Handspeed are decent but not great. He also lacks punching power and he has the reflexes of a middle aged man, seriously I think Hopkins moves better than Ward.

He didn't need talent he had refs to stop nearly all of his fights early so he could win, go home, and take a nap. I think he had the most deceiving career record to start with 23-0(21ko).

JMM, to me, is a guy who looks all education. Up to recently at least, he never looked like the most amazing athlete. Just timing, intelligence, composure, and honed technique.

Tony Zale, very good body puncher, good technique for his era, tough as nails very good power but not overly coordinated , fast of foot or hand, reflexes or athleticism

Antonio Margarito...outside of a great chin and stamina, he was wholly mediocre on the world class level talent-wise

Rocky Marciano was off the charts with toughness and heart but he was sloppy, not the hardest to it, and slow of hand and foot. great power for his size, made up for lack of many athletic gifts boxing wise with awkwardness, timing, and underrated countepunching

Everyone has to prove it to people. Some of us had high hopes for Froch, whether he had certain attributes or not. I would also consider calling Froch unathletic a gross overreaction. He may not be the most graceful person, but he is far from unathletic.

You don't get to an elite level by accident, you must have more than one dimension with better than average quali******.

Another disrepectful post about Marciano. He didn't have the best defense of his era, but he had great defense nonethless, "not the hardest to hit" is something people say about Rios or Margarito, and thats pure insult if you are trying to say his defense was that porous.

paulie for me, he has decent handspeed but everyone knows about his power lol. the fact he gets by with his power is a true testament to his boxing knowledge and application

Pay close attention folks, LW is about to give a quick class on how to slip the fools in the ring that is NSB.

This, is what we call trolling. Take note, it's quick, to the point, almost funny, and most importantly, absolutely ridiculous and far from the truth.

This, is what we call ignorance. This is equally as ridiculous, however it lacks the humor to be trolling, and it lacks the facts to be a post worthy of recognition, thus, it's safe to assume the author knows nothing of the sport and is most likely immature, and won't be around long, certainly not to contribute any useful or intelligent conversation.
