He has as much chance of becoming champ as anybody except Joshua.
HW boxing needs Wilder. A BIG, STRONG, KO fighter. My only fear is how skinny he is for such a tall man, I don't know if he will have a chin strong enough to take enough shots against the skilled figthers who WILL hit him, like Stiverne and Arreola. BUT what makes it soooo intriguing is that he doesn't have to have a chin as long as he can get to his opponets chin first!
Wilder will KO anyone he hits a few times because he punches with intention and conviction. Not the "best" boxer but is also not the worst boxer (Olympic Bronzes dont come to horrible boxers) and I hope he develops even more skill but in his current state, he will ice 95% of the HW division. Pppl feel Wilder can't fight and only crushes bums because we havent gotten the chance to see him actually fight. Hopefully Malik can stick around long enough to give us a better look at Wilders all around game.
Joshua though I do believe will be a beast, hope he also has a chin, as we KNOW he has power and we know he can also box well (Olympic Gold medal).
Wilder vs Joshua 2016!!!!

Why do people say Deontay can't box? He moves pretty good, and he does slip punches. He just has lapses, blind spots. He gets out of control when he smells blood and a scratch will do. All the mentioned HWs that people claim can box better, are not that much better if at all, and don't bring his power to the table.

I don't believe in Wilder honestly, I think he is going to break a bunch of peoples hearts. Full credit for beating Scott, solid test if your the truth, I think Scott takes it as I said earlier.
Honestly to me the most intriguing HW is Andy Ruiz Jr., that fat dude got some hands! I think Pulev is probably the best aside from the Klits, I also like Jennings alot too. I thought Scott would be able to outbox Chisora, but Chisora took it to him and he is basically a perennial contender type with tons of heart, which I enjoy.
Point is I think Wilder will end up worse off than all of them, being big with power only gets you so far. On the flip side apparently everyone who has had him as a sparring partner speaks highly of him and when Wlad says that I tend to believe he has something. Perhaps he just takes guys out too early or easy to ever have to turn it on and show something.

Is he the incarnate of Ray Mercer, or what??
probably someone elses sparring partner.
