    The Saul “Canelo” Alvarez-Alfredo Angulo bout that took place this past Saturday in Las Vegas, NV will open the “Showtime Championship Boxing” telecast this Saturday night, Stephen Espinoza told Boxingscene.com on Sunday afternoon.

    Espinoza is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Showtime Sports.

    After the Alvarez-Angulo bout, two fights will air live from the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. In the main event, Danny Garcia will defend his unified junior welterweight world titles against Mauricio Herrera.

          Good night of boxing... Not huge marquee match ups, but should be pretty entertaining..
          Garcia should beat Herrera pretty easily

          Wilder will finally have a live body in front of him.. Anxious to see how he responds..

          Showtime extreme cards should be action packed.. Jacobs vs Nunez will be a good test for Danny, if he can dominantly beat Nunez, then Danny has become a legit contender and should be fighting top 10 ranked guys afterwards
          Ponce-Juanma 2 will be a fantastic action fight... War juanma
