Why Did Angulo Look so HORRIBLE last night?

he looked like he was moving underwater, with no force or power behind his punches. he didnt even look like the killer angulo or seem interested in the fight. I knew he would lose but I was expecting a kill or be killed mentality at the very least. What happened to his Mexican machismo and pride? what the hell was the matter with him?

Well we have two extremes going here one side says he was paid off the other says he got hit in the first second of the fight by some monster body punch that changed him for life that it just didn't show because he had a good poker face.

idk nothing made sense about his punches i thought maybe he was trying to set him up, but no he kept throwing really slow pushing punches i don't think it was fixed, i think most likely like a lot of fighters he probably got sick making weight, you could see his rib bones sticking out

Angulo is slow in every way possible (feet, punches, movement) and Canelo took advantage of that.

but perhaps there were other reasons too because his punches had little on them. Could be that he was weight drained. Body can react differently every time when you balloon 20lb in 24 hours.

Canelo had a good game plan ...... also defended well and looked the fresher of the 2.

Those who thought that Angulo had a chance were thinking that Canelo would fight like he did against Floyd .... but Canelo came out offensively (aggressive) from the get go.

              .

Beating a dead horse is now an understatement.

                  It was fixed

During the ring walk, one of the SHO commentators said that all the late money was coming in on Canelo

Word got out that the fight was fixed. Tony Weeks was obviously in on it but the question is was Angulo?

Yup, reminded me of the Margarito that fought Cotto the second time around.
