Nobody truly cares about Lara except for his 12 fans in this forum.

Again, we the customers who pay for events want to see action in our PPV events. I would seriously throw up if I ever saw Lara not as the main event but EVEN as part of a PPV card. Extremely boring fighter, we fans do not considering running backwards and retreating entertainment.

He can stay fighting on regular SHOWTIME though, I can always skip those fights like I do with Rigondeaux.

Lara's last 2 fights had more action than that disgrace of a ppv event entirely, so you are just shooting yourself in the foot here

But yes Lara fans on this site are balling they pay reporters, commentators and critics of the sport to bring Lara's name up to Canelo as an opponent on the air and off every two seconds

Let me continue that thought later my Yacht just got done refueling.

Maybe in your delusional mind but not in the dimension we call reality.

Canelo-Angulo was a war, one sided, but a war. They both came forward and fought, it was exciting. I was rooting for El Perro but Canelo earned my respect. Alvarez-Thompson was very fun to watch as well, same with Linares-Arakawa.

I tune in to watch real men fight, not track and field. I don't sit down to watch someone retreat / back away from confrontation.

People pay to get entertained, Lara does not entertain anybody but his few fans.

Dude there are a bunch of people here calling it a bore only the bottom 2 fights where worth anything, and lets not forget the main event even showtime had to admit it was anticlimactic with that bizarre stopage, and for me it was not that but the fact that Angulo forgot his arms at home he was mr pity pat from round one. iNot to mention that the previous fight made me wanna blow my brains out. I was entertained by two of the 4 fights in the ppv card BECAUSE THEY WHERE NOT MISMATCHES, but the guys who entertained where the dudes that weren't even supposed to air and Warakawa and Linares. The main event was lame the "co" main event made me want to shoot myself.

Nobody got their moneys worth, but the guys with your perspective in your mind as soon as they punch each other in the face is worth it. To me worth it is a fight where i dont know who is going to win, and that shows who is the best. You can watch meaningless boxing fights and mismatches of dudes punching each other in the face for free, but ppv has to be more than that.

But directed to your hate of master counter punchers goes this; The name of the game is hit and don't get hit, like it or not thats what it is, and you are alienating the cream of the crop when you say you only want to watch come forward fighters without even having a legit reason to hate the rest. A guy who can moves can still mangle someones face and k.o them he will just try to do it and not get hit in the process that takes real skills.

This place never ceases to amaze me. "Real Men"? Since when are you fit to judge "real men"? I've been watching boxing for forty years, and even fought, and I've rarely ever felt this kind of disrespect for the men who come into the ring to face another man. You don't like the way Lara and his kind fight? That's fine. Save your money. But, please, save that judgmental bullshit. Landy's fought successfully on an international level for years. He rose from the canvass twice to make Anglo quit -- a better Perro than showed up last night, by the way. What makes you worthy of putting down a fighter of Lara's caliber? Are you Marvin Hagler, by any chance?

Can't imagine how a Mexican fighter can be so quiet when Lara is saying Canelo is a coward ducking. He is not choosing his words, he is saying Canelo doen;t want to fight clearly and loudly. Canelo is a disgrace avoiding fighters and picking for instance Cotto who is done jaja. What a duck or chicken protected Cinderella fighter
