  • And the award for worst week ever goes to ............

Goddamn, first they started off with Omar re-injuring his wrist a week before the fight, then they substituted Linares-Arakawa for this fight which was weak.

Then Pedo Molina gets locked up, GBP tries to get him out, then INS takes his ass, in comes Yeyo to save the day and fight Alvarez.

Then the weighing turned into some scandal.

The PPV started off good, then it was all downhill after the first fight, now people are accusing Angulo of throwing the fight, then people threw objects at Canelo. What a mess

I strongly disagree. I am a Perro fan and lost a lot of e-points as real money as well BUT I enjoyed last night like crazy. Exciting fights... specially the main event. I was on my feet the whole way through. I pay for all PPVs and I truly got my money's worth. And Canelo last night solidified his place as a PPV star which is great for GB, Canelo comes to fight and we fans that pay love that. Very enjoyable event all around, I had a great Saturday night!

Santa Cruz won and Alvarez looked dominant. They did fine. I dont understand though where the hate for Canelo was coming from before and after the fight from those in attendance.

          Golden Boy doesn't promote Molina.

Canelo looked great and the fight was exciting, his two fights last year were boring for the most part.

The fans throwing stuff at Canelo were Perro fans, they rather have their fighter die then have to deal with pippi longstocking beating the shit out of him.

Completely agree but people with their conspiracy theories go too far.

Omar reinjuring his wrist was a favor to Golden Boy. The losers would have won a total of 0 rounds in the entire card if Thompson didn't replace him. The undercard ended up being exactly what I thought it would be. A bunch of good names in mismatches. It was mostly boring.

Only one that had some potential was Molina vs Charlo, but lets face it, there would have likely been a styles clash. I would have actually preferred that fight over the other fights we got, but most people would disagree.
