    Canelos Stamina

Canelos stamina looked on point last night. He was throwing hard/fast combinations from round 1 til the stoppage. He clinched a few times here and there but overall it looked much improved.

I disagree he took many breathers during the fight. Lucky for him Angulo was too slow to capitalize on anything.

I thougt he would struggle and that's why I gave Angulo a chance to win. If Canelo gass out Angulo would've been all over him but he looked good. Angulo was not able to take advantage when he took his breathers.

Canelo didn't fight through enough adversity to convince me that his stamina improved. He was in the driver's seat for the entire bout, with very little momentum change. When he wanted to punch, he let his hands go. Since Angulo is defensively inept and just stood there, he absorbed a hell of a lot of punishment and rarely made Canelo miss. Angulo simply didn't apply enough pressure to tell me anything.

I'm a Canelo fan, I thought his stamina was "fair." That's the best way for Me to describe it.

Canelo was tiring by the 4th. I'm not saying he was gassed out but he was tiring by the time 4th round ended. Its gonna be a problem when he has a guy like Lara in front of him. Canelo is gonna be hit and have to chase him down.

Round 4 on he paced himself a lot more.

agreed...angulo wasn't putting the amount of pressure that could have tested canelo's stamina issues...he allowed canelo to fight at his own pace...

Eh I don't think so... I think he looked ok. I still think it was a dumb decision not to train in Big Bear to be honest.
