Angulo is a true badass but should he reitre??

I mean at some point you have to say enough is enough.

From a fan's perspective I understand we want to see him fight but if you were part of his team a close friend or a family member would you tell him to think about retirement????

He's been taking lots of punishment for several years now. I'm talking about straight BOMBS right to the chin over and over again. It's not like he's going to change his style anytime soon so he will continue to try to walk his opponents down and get his head smashed in the process.

Another thing....I still can't believe some people lost respect for him after what happened in the Lara fight. Do you guys still put this warrior down and call him a quitter??

I think he will continue BUT If he never fights again.....All respect to "El Perro"

he's a good guy and a good father...but he isn't a top level fighter (at least not for awhile now)...he can still go on and beat up some journeyman and borderline journeymen though to make some money and support his daughter

After what happened to him in the Kirkland, Lara and now Canelo fights, I'd say retirement wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Id say get a couple of bums under your belt and get a money fight with Kirkland. If he loses again then definitely retire.

Hes got a good sized fan base so I say fight a few more times and pick up some extra $$$ before retiring.

Let him take a soft touch, dude goes from a war with Lara to catching bombs from Canelo. I love watching him fight but if he is ready to retire then he has earned it

Normally he should, but can he live off a $850k payday (half going to taxes) for the rest of his life?

I like the Dog in all but last night he looked slow and his game plan was awful. The Dog needs to retire before somebody takes him to the pound and puts him to sleep.

Maybe he has a thick skull and can take it, but if he has lost his power for good he should stop, because then he has nothing to stop guys who want to play hit the mexican piņata with his head.

IDK what Hunter is doing with Angulo in training, but it damn sure didn't pay off last night. If they're not gonna improve him defensively, then at least make sure he comes physically and mentally prepared to win. Fighters like Angulo rely heavily on their physical/mental toughness, but he seemed like he was defeated before stepping in the ring. Once he loses that edge, it's over.
