    Should Canelo fight Quillin next?

Quillin be staying on undercards and can't even fight a decent opponent. Canelo wants to do PPV 3 times a year, but nobody else at 154, if he can even make it.

Makes sense to me. Quillin never going to be a main event fighter, and if he fights Jacobs next, he'll lose his belt. Might as well switch places with Canelo and take the loss against Jacobs

I don't think the 3 PPVs thing is gonna hold up, after they see the PPV sales for this fight, and Quillin is more unknown than Angulo.

Yea.... Schaeffer said canelo will fight 3 times a year...but not all 3 will necessarily be PPV.

Depending on how this does will determine the other 2.....but they wouldn't have anybody PPV worthy. He hasn't made that breakthrough with the significant win yet

Unless it's with Lara, don't see who it can be with other than QUillin. Literally nobody else can be on PPV

hadn't even thought about that fight, it makes sense
bigger stars are getting the glory at MW, Quillin is a forgotten man
surely he'd jump at the chance to fight Alvarez
that's a good fight and Alvarez can win
but Alvarez will be more interested in Martinez after the Cotto fight
and he'll really be drooling over a fight with Cotto if Cotto upsets Sergio
Alvarez should go up, no point in trying to make JMW again
he got his big payday with Floyd, so no need to keep squeezing there
would like Alvarez-Quillin, but doubt Quillin gets him

Exactly, so with Canelo aiming to be a PPV star, this means he has to go after the big names, the Cottos, Martinez and dare I say to GGGs of the world.
Angulo was basically the biggest name available at 154 with the exception of Lara and Trout in which he already beat.

Now if he lowers his demands, Quillin is a legit and winnable fight for Alvarez.

He can fight Kirkland also, fight the guy that beat the guy you just fought.
That is if he doesn't fight Lara.

A Kirkland fight is PPV worthy.

I can only see this fight happening if Cotto looses. If Cotto wins he's the first target they go after. Its better to have the Quillin Vs Jacob's fight first. Quillin might be an undercard fighter but he's big in NY. And he's helping fill the Barclay's not some cracker jack venue. That's gotta count for something. He might actually be a bigger star than he gets credit for. At least in his mind maybe.
