Are We Going to Get Any #1 vs. #2 Matchups in Any Division This Year?

In every division, there is an excuse of why the best fighters in each division can't face each other. Last year we had Donaire/Rigondeaux, Garcia/Matthysse, Mayweather/Canelo and Bradley/Marquez. But this year:

    Heavyweight:

Klitchko vs. Pulev - I don't know what is holding this up but I don't see either side making any effort to make it happen.

    Crusierweight:

Huck vs. Hernandez - Same trainer and friends

    Light Heavyweight:

Stevenson vs. Kovalev - They are doing more fighting outside of the ring and Stevenson seems to want to look elsewhere.

    Super Middleweight:

Ward vs. Froch 2 - Ward won't travel and Froch doesn't need it.

    Middleweight:

Martinez vs. Golovkin - Dibella wants NO PARTS of GGG

    Junior Middleweight:

Canelo vs. Lara - Canelo's team doesn't seem interested and his ****riders are making excuses

    Welterweight -

    Mayweather vs. Pacquiao/Bradley - Hahahahahahhahaahhahaha

    Junior Welterweight -

Garcia vs. Provodnikov - Garcia is eyeing Peterson and Provodnikov is going to fight ****ing Antonio DeMarco? Really?

    Lightweight -

Crawford/Abril/Vazquez - Bad style matchups. Probably will see Juan Diaz vs. Crawford and Abril vs. Linares.

    Junior Lightweight -

Uchiyama vs. Mikey - Neither will travel

    Featherweight -

No clear cut #1 and #2 right now

    Junior Featherweight -

Nobody wants any parts of Rigo

    Bantamweight -

Moreno and Yamanaka aren't even on each others radar

    Super Flyweight -

    Meh

    Flyweight -

Maybe we get Chocolito vs. Yaegashi but will a network pick it up?

Think we'll get Stevenson vs. Kovalev this year.. I still have hope that Canelo vs. Lara will get made.

That would be a damn shame. And its not because of money because 90% of those fights would do numbers.

          Possible ones:

Wlad-Pulev: If IBF mandates it, they're going to make it because Wlad doesn't want to let go of any of his belts.

Huck-Hernandez: Got my doubts....I think Huck is going up to HW after March

Stevenson-Kovalev: They already have a deal hammered out, if this doesn't happen we all know who botched it.

Ward-Froch 2: Only if Ward goes to England

Martinez-Golovkin: If GGG does fight Chavez Jr in the summer, totally possible for the fall if the WBC will let him unify over a mando

Canelo-Lara: All depends on Schaeffer. Lara fighting in May, so probably not coming up next

Vasquez-Other champs: I don't know....is there anything stopping these guys?

Mikey-Uchiyama: Doubt Mikey stays around that long

          Yaegashi-Roman: Very possible evidenty

Ward-Groves possibly if Groves beats Froch.

For the life of me I don't see a reason for Ward/Froch 2.

Nor do I see any for Pacman/Floyd.

If anyone on that list is willing to git er done, it's Danny. He's made a living off of cutting sown trees.
