Canelo vs Cotto vs Martinez vs Mayweather

The stars are being aligned. The writing's on the wall, Mayweather is clearly shooting for Martinez should he win against Cotto, a Middleweight championship would be historic for the P4P great. That's why he's taken the fight against Argentinean puncher Maidana. If he beats Marcos, the Argentine fans will surely come back to support Martinez in a fight vs Floyd. The fight would be nothing short of spectacular.

Canelo is shooting for the Martinez vs Cotto winner. If Cotto wins, a fight between Canelo and Cotto would be bigger than the Mexico vs Puerto Rico shoot-out that was Margarito vs Cotto, perhaps the greatest PR vs Mexico fight ever. *****, even if Cotto loses to Martinez a Canelo vs Cotto fight would still be huge.

And say both of these fights happen, and some how, Canelo and Mayweather come out victorious, imagine how big a Mayweather vs Canelo rematch would be for the Middleweight Championship would be?

Mayweather's hinted at fighting Martinez? First I've heard of this. I thought he was going after Lara.

Cotto and Mayweather would be biting off more than they can chew fighting at middleweight.

What you're suggesting would be pretty big, but I'm more interested in Mayweather fighting Pac.

I could see Canelo fighting the Martinez-Cotto winner at 160 and if he wins I could see him facing Mayweather in a rematch at 160.

The winner of Martinez vs Cotto is meant to be fighting Golovkin.

Mayweather is not fighting at 160 unless it against Cotto!

First, the stars have nothing to do with what boxing matches will happen. Mayweather won't fight Martinez if he beats Cotto unless Martinez agrees to fight at way below the middleweight limit. If Cotto by some miracle beats Martinez Mayweather would fight Cotto for the middleweight title since he knows he can beat Cotto.
Canelo would gladly fight the winner of Cotto- Martinez if they will fight him.If Canelo is middleweight champ Mayweather won't fight him unless Canelo agrees to a catchweight of 154 or maybe less.

Floyd isn't fighting at MW unless Cotto gets lucky vs Martinez
if he can Baldomir the MW title, he'll do it
but other than that, which is unlikely, forget it
Martinez will beat Cotto, and he better fight GGG after that
but Martinez will gladly fight Alvarez over GGG if Alvarez goes up
expecting Cotto to be retired after Martinez gets done with him
at this point, Alvarez would beat Martinez, who's just about done

Mayweather would wipe the floor mat with Sergio Martinez.

GGG would beat Canelo, Mayweather, Cotto and Martinez at 160.It's too bad the best middleweight in the world is shut out from the lineal middleweight title.
